"The High Admiral doesn't care whose blood you've got. She asks one thing: will you hold the line when the storm hits? Half the fleet would follow her into the Anchorage itself." — a Squallcaller deckhand of Coralhaven
Half-orcs are born of orc and human parents, and like orcs, they become what their homes make them. Many grow up between two worlds, too orcish for some and too human for others, and learn early to prove themselves by what they do instead of what they are. That drive has carried some of them very far. The High Admiral of Tidegate, Zariel Stormtusk, is a half-orc.
Names
Half-orcs take the naming customs of the culture that raised them. Examples:
- Zariel Stormtusk, High Admiral of Tidegate
- Halvard Ragnasson, of the Jötnar Clans of Glacithar
- Vesska Grimhollow, of the Ravus Empire
