Aether Fonts

Nature: Aetheric Fonts are sacred wellsprings channeling the Aether of The Twelve, sustaining Roh-ber’s ecosystems, trade, and magic. They are tied to rivers, vulnerable to corruption by Primal Cults summoning Primals using Eclipsa’s Aether as a catalyst. Fonts glow with Divine energy, reflecting their deity’s domain.

Cultural Significance: Fonts are revered during each deity’s Astral or Umbral Moon. The Triad and Aetherkin defend them, while Cults seek to corrupt them.

Conflict Role: Fonts are valuable areas in the Triad-Ravus war, with Aetherkin Guilds disrupting Cult rituals to prevent Primal summonings. The Cults’ disorganization limits them to one font under partial control, with others contested, straining resources but avoiding collapse unless multiple Primals are summoned simultaneously. Ravus exploits Cult chaos to harvest Aether from fonts.

Cults’ Limited Control: Due to their decentralized nature and infighting, the Cults control only the Shadowcove Font partially, contesting others through raids and subterfuge. Aetherkin adventurers, dispatched from portal-less Aether Halls, disrupt these efforts, keeping fonts contested.
