Rituals and Symbols
Honor Duels test samurai skill, his symbol—a naginata with a dragon—carved into armories.
Personality
Disciplined and righteous, Hachiman upholds bushido, rewarding loyalty and punishing dishonor.
Hachiman is the unyielding spine of Kiyomura’s samurai tradition: a stoic, imposing figure clad in layered crimson armor that gleams like fresh-spilled blood under sunlight, every plate etched with oaths and dragon motifs. His face is hidden behind a fierce dragon helm—fanged maw snarling, eyes glowing with cold crimson judgment. He wields Ryū no Seigi. Hachiman is disciplined righteous sentinel incarnate—silent, immovable, and absolute in his adherence to bushido. He speaks rarely, but when he does, his voice is deep and resonant, carrying the weight of unbreakable vows. He rewards loyalty that endures betrayal, skill honed through humility, and sacrifice made without complaint.
Core Motivation
To Uphold the Code That Binds Society. Hachiman sees honor as the foundation of Ezogashima—without it, clans fracture, Shogunate falls, and chaos reigns.
Greatest Flaw
Inflexible Absolutism. Hachiman's rigid code allows no gray areas—dishonor demands severe penance or death.
Pet Peeves/Taboos
Dishonor, empty boasts.
Kami Pantheon
Hachiman is one of the nine deities of the Kami Pantheon of Ezogashima. Gods other than The Twelve come into being through the worship of sentient races: their worshippers determine both their shape and their existence.
