Dawn Haven

• Circa 3100: In Roh-ber, Dawn Haven rises as a utopian society near a convergence of aetheric fonts, blending the magical traditions of the regions that would later become Sylvaris, Aurumhold, and Tidegate. Drawing from The Twelve's aetheric energy, it becomes a center of harmony and innovation.
• Circa 3500: Dawn Haven's mages trap Klythar, the Ebon Wyrm, in a prison that then becomes the Ebon Moon using aetheric seals, driven by fear of Dragon dominance.
• Circa 4000: Dawn Haven's influence wanes as internal divisions grow.
• Circa 5000: Dawn Haven asserts dominance through technology, magic and trade; but tensions rise with the Ouroboros Cult.
• Circa 5200: Dawn Haven seeks to control all aetheric fonts, starting the Dawnforge War.
• 5352: Dawn Haven falls when Klythar breaks out of his prison, after the Ouroboros Cult interrupts the ritual in Dawn Haven meant to reinforce the prison, triggering the First Shattering.
• Circa 5400: Afterward, Roh-ber's survivors rebuild into four different nations (Sylvaris, Aurumhold, Tidegate, and the Ravus Empire).

The fall of Dawn Haven

The realm once had a third moon but due to circumstances that moon was destroyed in an event that would come to be known as The First Shattering. This shattering took place during an event that would later be called the Dawnforge War. Where Dawn Haven, the capital of the one continental country that Roh-ber then was, fell when a powerful creature that threatened the world broke out of its prison, after an ancient cult of dragons, the Ouroboros Cult, interrupted the ritual in Dawn Haven meant to reinforce that prison.

That creature was Klythar, the Ebon Wyrm.

In the ancient era

In the ancient era of Nova, a thousand years ago, Dawn Haven was the radiant capital of the one continental country that Roh-ber then was: a fortified city of white stone and Aetheric towers, whose people served The Twelve.

Dawn Haven today

The ruins of Dawn Haven are now an overgrown, crumbling expanse in modern-day Roh-ber, 1,000 years after the First Shattering. Dawn Haven is a forgotten legend, overtaken by wilderness.
