Coralhaven is the capital city of Tidegate.
- Geography: A coastal metropolis on Tidegate's shores, Coralhaven is built from radiant coral and sea-glass, with docks extending into sapphire waves. Rivers meet the sea at the Tidewell, a Myrath-blessed Aetheric font glowing with stormy energy. Tropical storms and Zephyris' winds shape its vibrant maritime culture.
- Culture: Devoted to Thalyn, the Storm Empress and Zephyris, the Wind Dancer, Coralhaven is home to half-orcs, tritons, and tabaxi, with Stormcallers navigating seas using Thalyn's Aether. Rituals during the Second and Fifth Astral Moons honor storms and exploration, countering Cults' Stormwrack and Tiderot Primals. The city thrives on fishing and naval trade.
Key Features
- Tidewell
- Starlit Docks: Coral piers hosting fleets and Aetheric trade ships.
- Aether Hall: A radiant sea-glass guild hub where Lysara Stonefury (goliath fighter) coordinates maritime missions. It is one of the Aether Halls of the Aetherkin Guilds. (Lysara is the Aetherkin guildmaster; see Aether Halls.) It has portals that connect to the Aether Halls in the other Roh-ber capitals, Verdantspire and Gemcradle.
Leadership
Zariel Stormtusk commands the Stormborn League with a coral greataxe, her fierce strategy uniting Tidegate against Ravus and Cults. Her aggression strengthens Triad defenses but risks overextending resources.
Role in Conflicts
Coralhaven protects Myrath's coastal rivers and trade routes from Stormwrack's tempests and Tiderot's toxins. It faces Cult raids from coastal strongholds (e.g., Sylara Wavecrash's Tiderot rituals) and Ravus' airship blockades, with Zariel leading naval counterattacks.
Aesthetic
Sapphire coral, seafoam capes, and stormy Aetheric glows.
