- Identity: A human male, Malrik Vaelshade is the Dusk Emperor of the Ravus Empire, ruling Vaelor. Chosen through firstborn succession and blessed by Voryn’s Umbral Veil and Eclipsa’s Void Nexus, he wields a necrotic longsword pulsing with dark Aether.
- Personality: Ruthless, cunning, and ambitious, Malrik seeks domination through Aether exploitation, viewing the Triad as weak. He uses Voryn’s trickery to manipulate enemies.
- Goals: Conquer Triad fonts and expand Ravus’ airship fleet. He aims to pollute Myrath’s rivers to weaken the Triad, opposing Aetherkin interference.
- Influence: Malrik commands the Umbral Legion and Ravus’ forges, driving font raids and pollution. He sees Aetherkin as obstacles to conquest.
- Aesthetic: Black iron armor, a crown of necrotic shards, and Eclipsa’s starry decay. His longsword reflects Ravus’ toxic, industrial might.
