Tsukiyomi

Domain

Stealth

Appearance

A shadowy figure with lunar-silver horns, wielding a curved blade that gleams under the Umbral Moon, form blending with darkness.

Role in Society

Overseer of Tsukishima’s ninja arts, he is honored by spies and assassins, shaping covert operations against the Ravus Empire.

Rituals and Symbols

Moonlit Rituals involve silent offerings under the Umbral Moon, his symbol—a crescent blade—etched on masks.

Personality

Mysterious and calculating, Tsukiyomi values secrecy and precision, guiding the subtle arts with a cold hand.

Tsukiyomi is the silent breath between heartbeats in Tsukishima’s moonlit nights: a tall, shadowy figure whose form melts into darkness, only lunar-silver horns and the faint gleam of his curved sickle betraying his presence under the Moon. His body blends seamlessly with night—edges blurring, movements soundless—eyes like twin voids that reflect nothing but absorb all light. He wields Kage no Tsuki, a crescent sickle that shimmers a cold unfeeling light and leaves only whispers in its wake. Tsukiyomi is mysterious calculating phantom incarnate—cold, precise, and utterly detached, he values secrecy as the ultimate strength, precision as art, and subtlety as survival.

Core Motivation

Mastery Through Invisibility and Precision. Tsukiyomi believes true power is unseen—strike from shadow, vanish without trace, let the enemy defeat themselves through ignorance.

Greatest Flaw

Emotional Detachment. Tsukiyomi's cold precision makes him blind to loyalty, camaraderie, or the cost of endless secrecy—followers may become isolated tools, discarded when no longer useful. He rarely forms bonds, viewing them as vulnerabilities.

Pet Peeves/Taboos

Boasting of kills, leaving evidence, unnecessary noise.

Sacred Sites

Tsukishima’s misty mountains are sacred to Susanoo and Tsukiyomi.

Kami Pantheon

Tsukiyomi is one of the nine deities of the Kami Pantheon of Ezogashima. Gods other than The Twelve come into being through the worship of sentient races: their worshippers determine both their shape and their existence.
