Description
Thalyn is the deity of storms, seas, and martial prowess, depicted as a warrior with sapphire armor and a lightning-wreathed spear. Her aether fuels Tidegate’s naval might. In turn she is aligned with the second Astral Moon (the third month of the calendar year)
In the timeline, Thalyn commands storms: one of The Twelve, the ancient aetheric deities that emerged at the beginning of Nova (0000), shaping the landscape of Roh-ber.
Worshippers
Tidegate’s Stormcallers revere Thalyn, using her aether to navigate storms and wage war.
Symbol
A sapphire spear crossed with lightning.
Personality
Thalyn is the untamed maelstrom given form: a towering warrior in shifting sapphire armor that ripples like storm-tossed seas, her lightning-wreathed spear trailing electric arcs that dance wildly. Her presence brings the roar of breaking waves and crackling thunder, her eyes blazing with feral joy. She is the wild tide of war—chaotic, exhilarating, and unstoppable—crashing against foes with gleeful fury, yet rising like a protective surge around her faithful. In Tidegate, her aether infuses every ship and blade with restless energy, turning battles into thrilling tempests where skill and courage decide who rides the wave and who drowns.
Core Motivation
Exhilarating Glory in the Storm of Battle. Thalyn lives for the raw thrill of conflict—storms that test resolve, wars that birth legends. She stirs chaos not for destruction's sake, but to awaken potential: the weak are swept away, the strong ride her tides to greatness. She sees her followers as kindred spirits in the fray, worthy of her wild loyalty once they've earned it through daring and loyalty.
Greatest Flaw
Unpredictable Whirlwind Nature. Thalyn's chaos makes her mercurial— one moment charging into glorious battle, the next vanishing on a whim to chase a "better storm." Her loyalty is absolute to proven followers, but she can abandon the timid or overly cautious without remorse, leaving them to "find their own tide." This impulsiveness risks turning victories into routs if her mood shifts mid-fight.
Pet Peeves/Taboos
Betrayal of comrades, refusing a fair fight, calm complacency. Followers swear blood-oaths of loyalty—breaking one invites her personal storm of retribution.
Grudges & Cold Wars
The Anti-Voryn Coalition
Members: Thalyn, Umral, Solara, Luneth, Zephyris, Othar, Aurath, Myrath.
"we tolerate shadows but despise this level of deceit" consensus. Voryn's constant teasing lies and cult manipulations have burned too many bridges. They don't actively hunt him, but his name is a curse in their temples, and his followers get extra scrutiny/harsh judgment.

Solara & Othar respect Thalyn
