Wavecrest is one of the major cities of Tidegate.
- Geography: A coastal city in Tidegate's northern bays, built of bungalows and sea-glass. The Stormwell, a Thalyn-blessed Aetheric font, crackles with stormy energy, fed by Myrath's rivers, accessible via sapphire docks.
- Culture: Half-orcs, tritons, and tabaxi revere Thalyn and Zephyris (Wind/Sky/Freedom) during the Second and Fifth Astral Moons, using smaller storms to protect themselves from Imperial assault. Wavecrest trades fish and Aetheric sails.
Key Features
- Stormwell
- Pearl Docks: Sea-glass piers hosting trade fleets.
- Aether Hall: A coral guild hall where Lysara Stonefury (goliath fighter) trains Aetherkin, including for naval missions. It is one of the Aether Halls. (Lysara is the Aetherkin guildmaster; see Aether Halls.) Travel requires ships or airships.
Notable Figure
Taryna Windfang (tabaxi captain), a Thalyn devotee leading fleets against Stormwrack, coordinating with Zariel Stormtusk via ship couriers.
Role in Conflicts

Aesthetic
Sapphire coral, seafoam sails, and a stormy vision across the sea that never blows into town.
Travel
Parties use ships to Coralhaven, airships to Tideshallow, or coastal paths to Aurumhold, dodging ambushes.
