The Gilded Conclave is a coalition of high-powered trade guild masters. While they focus on the preservation of their wealth, they tend to decide among themselves who will be the head of the Conclave. The current High Guild-Lord is Korrak Tinkerforge.
From the Aurumhold notes: the Gilded Conclave is an oligarchy of powerful merchant guild leaders who hold true political power, prioritizing trade and wealth. Comprising leaders of major guilds (e.g., Gemcutters, Aether Traders, Forgesmiths), the Conclave sets economic policies, controls Aether distribution, and negotiates Triad alliances. Wealth determines influence, with richer guilds dominating decisions. The Conclave oversees the Aetheric Bank of Aurumhold, and the Office of the Legion answers to it.
