Ryujin is the living pulse of Nova's coastal waters: a majestic, serpentine humanoid figure covered in deep indigo-blue scales that shimmer like ocean depths under sunlight, his form rippling with an ever-present watery aura that trails mist and foam. His trident—Kaishin no Yari—commands tides. Eyes like polished pearls glow with ancient wisdom and sudden temper. Ryujin is wise yet tempestuous sovereign incarnate—profoundly knowledgeable about the sea's secrets, he protects fishermen, traders, and coastal ecosystems, granting safe passage and bountiful catches to the respectful. But polluters, reckless sailors, or those who take without giving face his wrath—rogue waves, riptides, or drowned ships as punishment.
