The Anchorage is Thalyn’s font in Tidegate, hidden far beneath the waves. There the Lifestream breaks through the seabed as a glowing pool ringed with raw aether crystals. Above it floats a great raft, anchored to the seabed around the font by heavy chains, and from its deck diving bells are lowered down to the font.
The Squallcallers are the raft's caretakers. They channel Aetheric storms to empower ships and drive off sea monsters. Sailors setting out on long journeys stop at the Anchorage to pay a tithe, in hopes of safe passage past the sea serpents and monsters of the deep. High Admiral Zariel Stormtusk is blessed by it.
