Dragons are one of the first sentient species of Nova, alongside the Giants and Fairies.
- 0000: Aetheric fonts appear, and the first sentient species (Dragons, Giants, and Fairies) emerge in Roh-ber, sustained by aetheric energy. Dragons dominate the skies.
- Circa 1000: In the War of the First Races, Dragons unleash fiery assaults. The three species suffer massive losses, weakening their dominance.
- Circa 2000: Dragons spawn Dragonborn and Kobolds to regain their numbers.
- Circa 2001: Led by the ancient dragons Bahamut and Tiamat, Dragons channel aether to create Klythar, a god of destruction, to reclaim dominance.
- Circa 2900: Dragons bolster Klythar's worshipers.
- Circa 3500: After Klythar's imprisonment, the Dragons retreat, humiliated, to hidden lairs.
- Circa 4000: Dragons form the Ouroboros Cult to free Klythar, building strength with Dragonborn and Kobolds as warriors and spies.
Today true dragons are rare. Most people of Nova live their whole lives without seeing one, and those who survive keep to hidden lairs, acting through the Ouroboros Cult and their Dragonborn and Kobold servants.
