Skolmir is one of the first giants when the three species first came to being on Nova. Skolmir is long since dead.
In Glacithar, frost giants are "Rare, revered spiritual leaders tied to Skolmir."
Skolmir led the Giants in the War of the First Races, and it was by his hand that the earth was shattered. He fell as the war ended, and legend holds that his body became the frozen mountains of Glacithar. This is why the last Giants dwell there, and why its frost giants revere him.
